Eng. Tarek Kabil is Egypt’s former Minister of Trade and Industry (2015–2018), during which he led the economic reform program, significantly increased industrial production, and reduced the trade deficit by $20 billion over two years. He held senior leadership positions at PepsiCo, including President of the Middle East and Africa region, where he doubled profits and tripled revenues in North Africa, overseeing a team of over 15,000 employees across 43 countries.

He was also a partner at Abraaj Capital and Head of the Performance Acceleration Group, leading FMCG businesses across the Middle East, North Africa, and globally. He began his career at Procter & Gamble and SUMED and holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Alexandria University.
